Rockstar Confirms GTA 6 Soundtrack Physical Release With 34 Original Tracks

Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have announced ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album,’ a 34-track soundtrack that will be released on CD and vinyl on November 19, 2026, the same day as the game. The album features original music from Travis Scott, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, and others.

The announcement was made on September 17, 2026, following a week of social media teases from multiple artists. Six tracks are available now on streaming services, including Travis Scott’s ‘RHYNO’ produced by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.

Physical Editions and Pricing

Three physical editions are available for pre-order on the official album website. A double CD version costs $19.98, a double LP vinyl edition costs $49.98, and a limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl set costs $124.98.

The limited-edition vinyl contains two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid and includes exclusive artwork. Additional retailer-exclusive vinyl variants will be sold through Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, and other stores.

Rockstar said in a statement that the album captures ‘the electric atmosphere of the game’s world around Vice City and Leonida with 34 original tracks.’

Artists and First Six Tracks

The first six tracks released are: Yung Lean’s ‘That’s It’ featuring Future and Metro Boomin; Travis Scott’s ‘RHYNO’ produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo; ‘Sexy Magic’ by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy; Morgan Wallen’s ‘Last Thing You Need’; Rauw Alejandro’s ‘Macacoa 2000′; and Keith Richards’ ‘Bright Lights, Big City.’

The remaining 28 tracks will be revealed before the album’s release. The album is available for pre-save on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Amazon Music.

Rockstar also said more details about the game’s ‘dynamic score’ and the ‘next evolution of in-game radio’ will be revealed in the coming months.

Physical Release Debate

The physical soundtrack release has drawn attention because GTA 6 itself will not have a disc-based version. The game will be available only as a digital download on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive, defended that decision in August 2026. ‘Our business is well over 90% digitally distributed,’ Zelnick said. ‘It’s already a digital business. So in certain instances, especially if it’s a big game, discs just — and note I said discs — don’t really make sense for the consumer.’

Zelnick also said: ‘It doesn’t mean that we won’t have physical editions now and then, I’m sure we will in the same way that there’s still vinyl in the recorded music business.’

Some fans have pointed out the irony of releasing a physical soundtrack while the game remains digital-only. The BBC reported that the soundtrack reveal has reignited the debate over digital versus physical releases in gaming.

Release and Availability

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album will launch on November 19, 2026, alongside the game. Pre-orders for all physical editions are open now on the official album website.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a PC release date.
